Expanding the activities of the Resilience Center of Ofakim
This project's primary objective is to secure the funding required to employ eight mental health practitioners who will collectively offer 456 hours of treatment over the course of the next three months. This financial support will encompass the compensation for the mental healthcare professionals and the provision of transportation to the Community Resilience Center situated in Ofakim.
Furthermore, the project will allocate resources for equipping the resilience center to ensure it is fully prepared for emergency activities. The essential equipment to be procured includes:
- Four laptops for conducting remote treatment sessions via platforms such as Zoom and for documentation purposes.
- Outfitting a dedicated bomb shelter room with two armchairs, a coffee table, and a rug to facilitate therapy sessions.
- Basic furnishings comprising six tables, 30 chairs, two TV screens for group Zoom sessions, speakers, a printer, and a paper shredder.
- Therapeutic and creative materials, including board games, art supplies, and therapeutic cards.
